Stage 1
Enrolment and early study
Students onboard from day one and begin building an employability profile: a first video bio, languages, and a growing skills record. SAE students start portfolios and showreels early.
An employability engine, not a database
A response to the Beyond Grad scope: an Invictus-branded graduate employability ecosystem, built on a platform that is already live.
The opportunity
The Beyond Grad scope describes a graduate database. Read closely, it asks for something considerably more ambitious: a connected ecosystem that supports graduates for life, strengthens industry partnerships, and turns graduate data into institutional intelligence.
That is an employability engine, not a database. Hirable is already that engine, purpose-built for the two industries Invictus serves, hospitality through the International Hotel School and creative media through SAE Institute. This proposal sets out how we deliver your scope in full, what is already running today, and what we build for you.
The whole journey
Your brief begins at graduation. We propose starting earlier. Rather than switching on when a student leaves, the platform follows each person across their whole journey with the institution.
Stage 1
Students onboard from day one and begin building an employability profile: a first video bio, languages, and a growing skills record. SAE students start portfolios and showreels early.
Stage 2
The profile grows through the qualification, giving faculty and the employability team visibility of graduate readiness before it is too late to act on it.
Stage 3
Qualifications are verified directly against Invictus records, the student becomes a graduate, and Open to Work is switched on with an availability window.
Stage 4
AI matches Open-to-Work graduates to vacancies from vetted partners, and applications flow through to placement with feedback captured at every stage.
Stage 5
Graduates stay connected and outcomes are tracked. Many return as mentors and employers: an IHS graduate now running a lodge posts vacancies and hires the next cohort through the same platform.
That final loop is what turns a graduate database into a self-sustaining employability network, and it is the difference between recording outcomes and creating them.
The comparison
Video bios with AI grading, an AI matching engine, a reference-verified talent pool, application tracking, native mobile apps and embeddable careers widgets are live today. Invictus deploys a working platform, not a multi-year development project.
There is no per-graduate licence. Your alumni are the asset, not a line item.
Verifiable graduate-outcome reporting for accreditation, employer feedback that flows back into curriculum, and hard proof that Invictus graduates get hired, which is your strongest tool for recruiting the next intake.
The number that decides it
Annual running cost, shown to scale
Giving 20,000 alumni portal access on Salesforce means external-user licensing. On a per-user model that is tens of millions of rand a year and simply not viable. On login-based pricing, realistic engagement puts running costs in the region of R2,000,000 to R5,500,000 per year, before the build. The alternative is to keep alumni as records with no login, which removes self-service profiles, Open to Work and applications, and with them the entire point of the brief. Hirable prices institution-wide instead: unlimited students and alumni, from R540,000 per year.
The credibility section
The tables below follow the structure of your brief. Every requirement is either live on the platform today or built for Invictus as part of the rollout, at no additional cost beyond the commercials below.
Outcome and skills-gap insight deepens as data accumulates through the first graduating cohort. Exportable graduate-outcome reporting is designed for accreditation submissions, executive review and student recruitment marketing.
More than asked for
The scope asks for AI matching as an aspiration. It is running today, alongside a set of capabilities the brief does not ask for and a CRM build would never deliver:
Graduates present personality, communication and language, not a CV line. Every bio is transcribed and graded with structured feedback.
Vector-based matching produces a ranked shortlist per vacancy with a match percentage and specific strengths and concerns for each candidate.
Structured reference checks against real job history, with a verification badge on the profile.
Live on the App Store and Google Play, which is how your graduates actually job hunt.
Vacancies published straight onto Invictus, IHS, SAE or partner websites.
Graduates and hiring teams talk inside the platform, with team assignment and shared candidate conversations.
How it lands
Deployment is across both institutions, phased so the core engine is live early and value builds from the first cohort rather than waiting for full scope.
Invictus-branded instance, academic data model, alumni migration, partner vetting, vacancy management with aging, graduate matching, full application pipeline and the executive dashboard. Indicative 8 to 12 weeks from kickoff with a dedicated delivery team, subject to data readiness.
Enrolment onboarding, in-study readiness tracking, assessment capture and the curriculum feedback loop to academics.
Alumni and partner engagement campaigns, the mentor and employer return loop, and advanced outcome and skills-gap reporting.
The investment
The monthly subscription is institution-wide across IHS and SAE, all campuses, unlimited students and alumni, with unlimited AI matching and the priority support tier included. The rate improves the longer you commit. A one-off setup fee of R150,000 covers the platform extensions, custom dashboard, migration of your existing alumni records and team training, and is waived entirely on a 36-month term.

Priority support includes a named account manager, a defined response-time agreement, full onboarding and data migration, training for the employability team and faculty, quarterly business reviews, and a direct route into the Hirable product roadmap.
A partnership, not a licence
We will lock your monthly rate for the full term, with no annual escalation, in return for Invictus acting as a founding institutional partner: a reference, a published case study, and a joint announcement. We can price the institution side generously because Hirable also earns on the employer side through placements, and 20,000 hospitality and creative graduates strengthen that marketplace for every partner on the platform. This is a genuine partnership rather than a licence sale.
Trust and compliance
Personal information is processed in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, with defined lawful basis, consent captured at onboarding, and graduate rights to access and correction.
Invictus owns its institutional data. The platform is a branded instance and data can be exported on request.
Role-based access separates employability staff, faculty, executives and external partners.
See it before we meet
We have not waited for the working session. An Invictus-branded instance of the platform is running now, seeded with a realistic world: 81 graduates across the International Hotel School and SAE Institute, ten industry partners at every stage of vetting, fifteen live vacancies and a full application pipeline. Log in and explore it at your own pace.
